Is UK tap water actually unsafe?
Not by the numbers — regulators report 99.97% compliance. Clarion exists for taste, hardness, plastic waste, and precaution against things like PFAS that current standards don't yet regulate, not because your tap water is dangerous.
Do you need WRAS approval?
WRAS covers fittings plumbed into the mains, not portable bottles — so no. Our filter cartridges come from NSF/ANSI 42 & 53 certified suppliers, which is the standard that actually applies to us.
How often do I replace the filter?
Roughly every two months, or about every 150 litres, depending on how hard your local water is.
